DLL is missing”. I reformatted an older computer, and installed Windows 8. DLL is missing. I used the compatibility mode, but that didn’t help. Everything else seems to work fine except this game, so I don’t ‘think’ it’s a hardware issue.

I have tried the same method I described on other computers with the same result. I might add others in the Loderunner community have had the exact same problem. I ran the System File Checker, but it reported no integrity violations. You can check your Recycle Bin because it is possible that your dplay.
