Hi, I по этому адресу an update on my computer and now office will not work. I have done everything I have seen suggested. Still nothing. It came up after I reinstalled with “New” next to the symbols microsoft word 2013 not launching free still made no difference. All the symbols appear but nothing happens when you click to try launch.

I have someone that is need of working on a paper that is due app next week. This is a new laptop that they had got an was able to use Word fine uptill today. It wont open any of the Office applications or document formats.

I also, tried running them as admin an a system restore. This wouldn’t happen to be a limited time trial of office that tends to come on most laptops since , would it?

And that limited time wouldn’t have happened to expired I tried restoring it back to when they started using it. How would it have expired if they started using it last week but, now the program isn’t installed. Hold down the Ctrl key while you start Word, keeping it held down until you are asked if you want to start Word in safe mode.

System restore or repair install should work. Office on new machines isn’t a trial, it’s just not a full ms office. I would assume if the 90 day trial is up, it would either tell you “sorry, times up” or something like that. Did they BUY office with the laptop?

Barring that, they will have to pay for a license to use it. I’ve been kind of impressed with the look and feel of Kingsoft Office Microsoft still provides Microsoft Word 5. So if really need to have Microsoft Word because you refuse to download and install and freeware alternative such as Libre Office and can’t afford an actual license, and for some reason can’t use the starter version, there’s always that. I’ve long since lost the actual download page, but here’s an article with the download link for Word 5.

Alternatively you could also use FreeDOS. Even more alternatively you could run emacs on an HP Series Further, you could boot up the old Tandy. But seriously, just buy office, or use Libre office, or just do nothing about it and complain. My guess is that the clock started when they started using the machine. However, the program should still be there, it will just nag at you to pay or don’t play.
